About the Provider

Hello Ladies! 

My name is Callie Castle and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, located in the Panhandle of Texas. After practicing for two years, I felt like I was missing something. I felt there were deep, underlying issues leading to patient’s illnesses that we were taught to cover up with medications. Then I had a thought:  “What if, instead of constantly prescribing medication for our patient’s illnesses, we search for the root cause and try to reverse or heal it?”

That is how I found Functional Medicine and founded Better Health for Women.

I have been in your shoes and I know how hard this road is. I know how hard days can be when you can’t pull yourself out of bed, but your family is depending on you. I understand what it feels like when you are hurting, but your providers can’t find anything wrong, and you wonder if it is all in your head.
